Mr. Khalil
Jurdi:
Mr. Khalil Jurdi is a founding Member of Jurdi,
Jurdi & Jurdi Solicitors & Barristers. He is a lawyer, member in the Bar
Association of Beirut with 15 years of rich experience in matters of Real
Estate law, Contract law, and Commercial and Civil litigations. His
extensive experience includes remarkable knowledge in foreign Educational
Institutions Law that he gained through a wide involvement in the defense of
several educational institutions. Again, he defended several foreign clients
in their inheritance litigations in Lebanon, many of which were resident
overseas and account his support to preserve their right. Furthermore, he
has represented many individuals and corporations in connection to their
real estate rights in the scope of the Lebanese real estate law for
foreigners.
He has assisted individuals and business entities in a variety of real
estate issues, including real estate investment opportunities, acquisitions
and sales, real estate construction and development agreements disputes,
leasing, zoning, landlord/tenant matters, land use, mortgages, and other
real estate matters, litigation, consultation and negotiation of mortgages
re-financing, reverse mortgages, residential purchase and sale agreements,
real estate disputes, including disputes over adverse possession,
condemnation, property taxes. Claims against and defense of real estate
brokers and agents for negligence, misrepresentation, breach of duty,
construction defects and mechanic’s liens, including disputes between
owners, builders and contractors.
Ms. Fadia Jurdi:
Ms. Fadia Jurdi is also a Member of Jurdi, Jurdi and
Jurdi. She is a lawyer, member in the Bar Association of Beirut, possessing
14 years of rich experience in matters of labor and insurance law, backed
with a special knowledge in private international law. She has the ability
to advice on complicated issues of business legal disputes, and advises how
to reduce the risk of employment litigation and how to comply with domestic
laws. Also, she is specialized in the field of Labor Law (relation between
employers and unions, protecting workers rights, reviewing client employee
policy statements, representing clients on the arbitral labor council,
counseling on issues related to strikes or lockouts, and providing related
litigation support).
Mr. Fadi Jurdi:
Mr. Fadi Jurdi is a Member of Jurdi, Jurdi & Jurdi
law firm. He is a lawyer, member in the Bar Association of Beirut, also
carrying a Bachelor Degree in Banking and Finance. He is specialized in
Banking and Financial Institutions Laws, commercial litigations (financial
international crimes, tax evasion litigations, and all disputes to banking
and financial laws). Again, he is capable of providing legal assistance on
daily banking business issues and advices the clients with respect to latest
developments in this field, such as on-line banking, E-commerce, Islamic
banking businesses regulations and customs. Mr. Fadi has a special knowledge
in matters of Maritime and Aviation laws whether of domestic laws,
international treaties or customary laws (as representation of crew members
or passengers in case of accident, fighting the rights for medical care and
wages, insuring compensation …)
